Chelsea Ladies manager Emma Hayes spoke of her pride after watching her new-look side hold their nerve to book their place in the final of the International Women’s Club Championship in Japan.Hayes’ team included new signings Laura Bassett and Rachel Williams, who both joined from WSL rivals Birmingham City last month, as well as American Allie Long and Swedish defender Emma Wilhelmsson, who are on loan and trial respectively. As expected Chelsea started slowly but after midfielder Laura Coombs gave them a 35th-minute lead they seized control with England striker Eniola Aluko and Japanese superstar Yuki Ogimi appearing to have secured the win with strikes early in the second half. But Sydney refused to throw in the towel and goals from Renee Rollason and Jodie Taylor set up a grandstand finish, only for Hayes’ charges to stand tall and book a spot in Sunday’s final against Japanese double winners INAC Kobe Leonessa where a bumper crowd is expected.“I’m happy with the way the team performed,” said Hayes.Hayes’ team are in action again on Sunday,“To come all this way to Japan and play against the Australian champions is difficult in itself, but to do that in our off season and win the game shows what wonderful character and spirit we are building at Chelsea.“It took us a while to get going. We looked like a team out-of-season and Sydney started the game brightly, were sharp, quick to the ball and created a lot of chances.“But we hung in there and in the end the difference between the two teams was that we were more clinical in the final third.”The challenge facing Chelsea in Tokyo will be vast, and even the appearance of World Cup winner Ogimi in a blue shirt won’t sway the partisan home support away from INAC.But whatever the outcome, Hayes believes Chelsea are a side on the up as they continue their preparations for the start of the Women’s Super League in April.“In our next game we play one of the best teams in the world, and a team I have followed closely over the last couple of years, as a fan,” added Hayes.“I expect two teams with similar style. INAC too are in the middle of their season and I expect them to dominate possession.“We have to respect that we are still in pre-season, put in a solid performance and hopefully come away with something.“We’re in the middle of trying to bring players into our team for next season. We felt this was a good opportunity to experiment and bring some players on trial, but we select a game dependent on what our needs are.“At the moment I don’t know what we will do for INAC but every player is in consideration.”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 Follow West London Sport on TwitterFind us on Facebook

30 July 2014South Africa’s University of Pretoria cricket team, Assupol Tuks, claimed the Red Bull Campus Cricket World T20 title in England on the weekend after going through the competition unbeaten.‘An excellent campaign’“Tuks deserve all the accolades for an excellent campaign,” Cricket South Africa (CSA) CEO Haroon Lorgat said in a statement.“Coming so soon after our Coca-Cola national under-19 side won the ICC World Title suggests that our pipeline programmes are running well and that our amateur cricket is in a pretty healthy state. Congratulations also to all our development personnel for the great work they do.“A significant feature of Tuks’ triumph was the depth in their squad. They had four of the top eight batsmen in the tournament, while Corbin Bosch and Ruben Claassen were the two leading wicket-takers.“I congratulate the players and team management on their well-merited triumph.”OppositionTuks were up against Leeds/Bradford MCCU (UK), the University of New South Wales (Australia), University of Liberal Arts (Bangladesh), Rizvi College (India), Karachi University (Pakistan), International College of Business and Technology (Sri Lanka) and Jamaica Inter-Collegiate Sports Association (West Indies) for the title. The current Momentum National Club champions won all five of their matches with their semi-final being the only one in which they were closely challenged.Group playThey opened their challenge in Group 2 with a big 114-run victory over the University of Liberal Arts, scoring 205 for 4 as Theunis de Bruyn bludgeoned an unbeaten 137 off only 60 balls, and then restricted the Bangladeshi team to just 91 for 7 in their 20 overs.Against Leeds/Bradford MCCU, Tuks triumphed by seven wickets with 22 balls to spare. They gave up only 109 for 8 to the English team and then reached 110 for 3 in the 17th over of their reply as South Africa under-19 captain Aiden Markram top scored with 42.In their final group game, Markram struck 76 at the top of the order to help the South African university team to 178 for 5 against the Jamaica Inter-Collegiate Sports Association. The islanders managed only 122 all out in response, with Markram and David Mogotlane picking up three wickets apiece, to record a 56-run win.Semi-finalsIn the semi-finals, Rizvi Mumbai made Tuks work hard for victory, despite making only 122 for 9 in their 20 overs. Johan Wessels, with 56, and Theunis de Bruyn, with 31, saw the Pretoria side to a five-wicket victory, however, with five balls to spare.Jamaica Inter-Collegiate Sports Association shocked the previously unbeaten University of New South Wales in the other semi-final clash, winning by 10 wickets, to set up another meeting with Tuks, this time for the World Campus T20 title.FinalBatting first at the Kennington Oval in London, Tuks posted 188 for 6, with Johan Wessels smashing 61 off 40 balls and Sean Dickson contributing 39 off 31. Very excited about these, they look and feel amazing. I will be coming back again and again. I usually pay out sooo much money for real hair clip ins i have tried them all (halo etc) these are just as good. They stay straight, hold a curl without spray, stay in, don’t show, wash nice. I have a auburn colour hair which is impossible to match. So i purchased these in blonde and used a box dye on them, i was so impressed they turned colour quickly i was able to rinse them in 10 mins, then condition, perfect. Fooled so many people into thinking it was my natural hair. Lovely hair but a bit definitely not 70g each, bought 2 packs. Will have to order more to make it thicker. Fabwigs Clip In Human Hair Extensions – 15 18 20 22 Inch 7pcs 70g Set – Silky Straight Human Remy Hair (18 Inch #1 Jet Black) : Amazing quality hair, clips stay attached to hair once in but one pack definitely isn’t enough for a full head i’d say you’d need 2-3 packs for a full head. Brill condition arrived next day and they easy to manage. I do recommend this product. Excellent service, lovely natural hair and the colours are spot on. Will defo be using and recomending to others. Yes these are thin as lot of people have mentioned but as a hair consultant i have to say that for the quality of the hair that is to be expected at 20 inches. Your best bet is to take 2 of the same size. Temove the clips on one set carefully using only s stitch unpicked never scissors. Now match up the 2 strips so that the streaks are opposite colours. Sew the one without the clips on top of clip one. This saves putting too much weight on ones head from the clips. I personally bought one streaked and one light caramel brown and placed one caramel brown weft on top of a streaked one. If you have more streaked purchase i streaked one and one light blonde. Remember to double check the weight of hair. 70g was definitely not enough for my average hair. But thanks for the quick email guys. Gorgeous colour, but they are very thin. You would need 3-4 packs for a full head full volume look. For the price these are great extensions. I only use a couple of strips and replace every few weeks. They stay nice for this long and because of the low price you can afford to swap them more often. Great quality hair for the price. Exactly as described but definitely a bit longer then 15′. I did get 3 packs as i have thick hair and 3 packs work out as the perfect weight for a full head of thick hair. Will be getting these again when i need to replace those ones. You get what you pay for colour is as shown but hair was mostly synthetic. Fantastic extensions, i removed the clips and weaved them in, will be ordering more. Bought these to thicken up some other extensions although i’m not sure they’re 100% human hair. Having had contact with the seller about this they have been a huge help, fantastic communication and can confirm that although the product was not for me personally, the seller works hard to make their buyers happy. For this reason i give them 4 stars.
