For the second-consecutive year, UCF finished the college football season undefeated. And for the second consecutive season, the undefeated Knights were held out of the College Football Playoff after finishing a Group of Five all-time high No. 8 in the final rankings.Sure, the Knights are headed to yet another New Year’s Six Bowl game. However, the team has to feel left out after winning 25 games over the past two seasons – including last year’s Peach Bowl against Auburn. To bad, so sad, says Paul Finebaum. On his show Thursday afternoon, Finebaum has a message for UCF.“Shouldn’t the UCF’s of the world be contest that they are in a New Year’s Six game?” Finebaum said on the SEC Network.”Shouldn’t the UCF’s of the world be content that they are in a New Year’s Six game?”– Paul @finebaum just now on @SECNetwork— Barrett Sallee (@BarrettSallee) December 6, 2018Yet another undefeated season and no respect. The Knights’ football team and their fans everywhere will surely give Finebaum a piece of their mind. For now, they’ll have to settle for the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl against LSU on January 1.
